After-School Care Program 2011-2012
After School and Full Day Care Program for Jr. Cubs through Fifth Grade
The After School Care Program is designed for working parents who need extended care for their children. The program is from 2:20-5:30 p.m. when school is in session. All-day care also is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on some days when school is not in session. Students must be signed up for all-day care in advance. Additional charges will apply.
Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for students who need extended supervision. All After School Care employees receive the maximum amount of training hours. The program is a licensed facility that operates under the Department of Education guidelines.
USJ also offers an Early Bird program that begins at 7:15 a.m. There is no charge for this program.
After School Care monthly payments must be made the first of each month. Payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $15 late fee. Make checks payable to USJ After School Care.
The drop-in fee is $10 and is payable that day. Late pick-up fees are charged beyond 5:30 p.m. and are also payable that day.
In order to maintain a more efficient After School Care Program, parents are asked to register for two, three, or five days a week.
Monthly After School Care Rates
5 days a week $100
3 days a week $80
2 days a week $70
Full-Day Rate
$20 per full day
Full-Day Rate for those NOT registered for After School Care
$25 per day, plus a one-time $25 registration fee
Late Fees:
After 5:30 p.m., the late fee is $5 for first 15 minutes and $5 per each additional minute after 5:45 p.m.
Camp Bruins (Summer Day Care Program)
$125 a week, plus a one-time $50 registration fee
** Weather Notice ** If school is closed or dismissed early for bad weather there will be NO AFTER-SCHOOL CARE OR ALL DAY DAYCARE! So be sure to watch the USJ website for updates or listen to the radio or WBBJ-TV for cancellations.
