2011 Tennessee Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Conference

Amber Anderson attended a workshop, entitled "More than a Beta Fish," that focused on ways early childhood teachers/caregivers can bring science inside the classroom. They discussed current research and emphasized connecting with children about nature while also sharing practical examples of how science and nature can easily be incorporated indoors. They shared photos, examples, and experiences. This workshop was geared towards teachers/caregivers of infants, toddlers, and preschool age children in any setting.
