Brenda Austin

Sixth Grade Science

Brenda Austin teaches sixth science and is the Middle School Student Council advisor.

Brenda has a B.S. in Education from Auburn University and a Masters in Secondary Education from Troy State University. She has taught Middle School students for 27 years, predominantly science, in both Alabama and Georgia.

Her family moved to Jackson in December 2005, after her husband's job transfer. This is her second year at USJ. She and her husband, Jeff, have two children: Kendall, who is a senior at the University of South Carolina, and Kayla, a junior at USJ.
