Fifth Grade

Cindy Bell is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where she received her bachelor of science degree in early childhood and elementary education and the University of Memphis where she received her masters of education in administration and supervision. She is the TAIS Liaison for Grades 2-5.

Cindy has been an educator for 22 years and has been teaching at USJ for 10 years. Her goal as a teacher is to help each child reach his or her highest potential and feel success in what he or she does. "It is a great privilege to be a part of a child's educational journey," she says. "I want to promote a love of learning by providing students with a variety of teaching methods so that each child can experience success in the classroom."

Cindy's interests include her family, golf and reading. She and her husband, Larry, have three children: J.T., a 2005 USJ graduate who is attending UT Knoxville; Nathan, a 2007 USJ graduate who is attending UT Martin; and Katherine, a senior at USJ.

"I enjoy the support of the administration and fellow teachers at USJ as we work to provide an outstanding education," she says.
