Courtney Burnette
Upper/Middle School Student Advisor and Testing Coordinator
Courtney Burnette has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Tennessee Tech, and she received her master's degree from the University of Memphis. Courtney has 13 years teaching experience. Before coming to USJ, she spent ten years in Gibson County Schools where she served her last two years working as an exemplary teacher for the district. In this position, she worked with teachers analyzing data and implementing research-based teaching strategies in the classroom.
Courtney is in her third year at USJ. She has taught 2nd grade for two years and this year will serve as Middle and Upper School advisor to students and testing coordinator.
Courtney and her husband, Tim, have two children, Chloe (6) and Camille (3). Chloe is a first grader at USJ and Camille is beginning her academic career as a Cub.
