Courtney Burnette
Middle School Director
Courtney Burnette is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University where she received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education. Mrs. Burnette received her Master of Science from the University of Memphis where she completed her course work in Leadership and Policy Studies with a concentration in administration and supervision. Mrs. Burnette is currently in her seventeenth year of her education career with six of those years at USJ. Throughout her career, she has served in such capacities as classroom teacher, exemplary teacher, student advisor, testing coordinator, and MS Director. Mrs. Burnette and her husband, Tim, have two children attending USJ.
USJ offers not only a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum, but also offers students the opportunity to participate in two theatrical productions each year, competitive choral endeavors, visual art, computer skill development, foreign language opportunities in French and Spanish, and a wealth of athletic opportunities in cheerleading, football, soccer, softball, cross country, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and golf. USJ works diligently to engage the total student during these critical years of educational, social, and emotional growth.
