Christie Golden
Upper School Algebra II and Anatomy & Physiology

Christie Golden, who is in her 13th year at USJ, teaches Algebra II and Anatomy & Physiology.
Mrs. Golden has a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Union University, a bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee at Memphis, and a masters in education from Union University. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and received her Athletic Training Certification through the organization. Before beginning her teaching career, Mrs. Golden was a physical therapist and athletic trainer.
Mrs. Golden and her husband, Scott, have two children: Ela is six and in kindergarten at USJ, and Kipi is four and in the Jr. Kindergarten class. Their third child, Andrew, was born October 27, 2010.
Outstanding Teacher
Christie Golden was inducted into National Honor Roll’s Outstanding American Teachers. The program provides positive recognition to educators, who have been identified by their students as having had a great influence on their lives.
