Linda Hawks

Honors and CP Freshman English, Yearbook

Linda Hawks, with more than 30 years experience as a teacher, is in her second year of teaching at USJ. Besides teaching freshman English classes, she also serves as yearbook sponsor. Hawks received her masters in curriculum and instruction design from the University of Memphis. She is in her 34th year of teaching.

Linda enjoys reading, traveling, and gardening. She and her husband, Mike, have been married for 33 years and have one daughter, Abbey, who lives in Charleston, S.C.

Linda loves teaching and feels that her role is to encourage the students to always want to know more.
