Kindergarten Assistant
Jo Ann Latimore is a Kindergarten Assistant. She has been teaching for 13 years and has been at USJ for ten years.
She has college credit in the A-Beka Program at Pensacola, Florida. She has taught Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
Mrs. Latimore’s teaching philosophy is that children will learn in at atmosphere where they can be in a “happy, peaceful classroom, and to know that are loved and not pressured.”
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She has 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Latimore says she enjoys working at USJ because “of the family atmosphere. The teachers work together for the good of the children.”
