Shane Lynch

American History, AP European History

Shane Lynch teaches American History and AP European History. An educator for more than 20 years, Shane Lynch has taught 11 years at USJ. Before coming to USJ, he taught in the Memphis City Schools. He has served as an AP reader.

Shane has a bachelor of arts degree in social science from Union University and has done graduate work at the University of Memphis. He is a member of the National Association of Social Studies Teachers.

His wife, Libby, teaches Upper School art at USJ. They have two children: Trey is a senior at USJ; Ann Elizabeth is in ninth grade at USJ.

"USJ is a great school," Shane says. "We have a great staff and excellent students."
