Anna McPeake

Middle School Art

Anna McPeake teaches art in the Middle School and Upper School. Besides general art classes in the Middle School, her Upper School classes are Studio Art, Exploratory Art, and International Art.

Mrs. McPeake has a bachelor of science from Lambuth University and a masters in education from Union University. She has been at USJ for nine of her 13 years in education. Mrs. McPeake is a member of the National Art Education Association.

"I introduce students to a variety of artists and styles from different periods. Students experiment using different methods and techniques in order to find a style that appeals to them."

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys painting, working with stained glass, going to movies and plays, and reading. She studied painted for a summer in Aix-en-Provence, France. She likes teaching at USJ because of the positive, supportive environment.
