Ruth Ann Morrison

Eighth Grade English

Ruth Ann Morrison has been teaching for 20 years and has been at USJ for 15 years. She has a bachelor of science degree from MTSU. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English.

Mrs. Morrison is a 1974 USJ (Old Hickory) graduate, and her late husband, George, was a 1973 graduate of the school. They have three daughters: Margaret, a 2001 USJ graduate; Meredith, a 2003 USJ graduate; and Melissa, a 2006 USJ graduate.

"This school has been an integral part of my life for many years," Mrs. Morrison says. "I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach at USJ. It is home to me … and there's no place like home."
