Jenny L. Pritchett

Cubs through First Grade Physical Education

Jenny Pritchett joins USJ this year to teach physical education to Cubs through first grade students. Jenny also is the head coach for Middle School Girls Basketball. This is her third year to teach physical education.

Jenny has a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance, Sports Management, and a Master of Science in Education, Teaching Advanced Elementary, from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her professional memberships include the National Education Association, the Tennessee Education Association, and the Tennessee Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.

Jenny is married to Holt Pritchett, a lender at First South Bank in Jackson.

"I believe that every child can find something they enjoy in physical education," she says. "My goal is, while having fun, to instill the importance of physical fitness so that my students will be equipped with the skills necessary and interest in staying healthy for life."
