Cori Rose

Kindergarten

Cori Rose teaches Kindergarten. Cori has a bachelor of arts in public relations from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She graduated with a Masters in Education with a focus on PreK-6th grade from Union University in December 2010. Cori has been teaching at USJ for 11 years, three as an assistant and eight as a head teacher.

Her philosophy in teaching is to turn play into learning so that learning becomes fun.

Her mother, Elizabeth, is a third grade teacher at USJ. Her brother, Drake, is a 2001 USJ graduate. Her daughter, Ava, is in Kindergarten, and her daughter, Leda, is a Jr. Cub. Both are at USJ.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys volleyball, reading and spending time with her family.
