Cori Rose

Cubs

Cori Rose teaches Cubs. Cori has a bachelor of arts in public relations from the University of Tennessee at Martin and is working towards her masters in education at Union University. Cori has been teaching at USJ for eight years, three as an assistant and five as head teacher.

Her philosophy in teaching is to turn play into learning so that learning becomes fun.

Her mother, Elizabeth, is a third grade teacher at USJ. Her brother, Drake, is a 2001 USJ graduate. This year her daughter, Ava, joins USJ as a Cub.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys volleyball, reading and spending time with her family.

Sara Kazempour

Sara Kazempour, who has been an educator for 13 years, is Cori Rose's Cubs Assistant.

She holds a bachelor of arts in teaching English as a foreign language and has been at USJ for several years. She wants to create a situation for children to learn better through love and help. Outside of the classroom, Sara enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and running. Sara enjoys everything and everyone about USJ. "They are so interesting and caring," she said.
