Dana Talkington
Middle School Spanish
Dana Talkington has been teaching Middle School and Elementary School Spanish for the past six years.
She has a bachelor's degree in bilingual elementary education. Mrs. Talkington’s goal as an educator is “to present Spanish in an enthusiastic and interesting manner so my students will develop a love for the language and for the cultures where it is spoken.”
Her favorite interests outside of the classroom are motorhoming with her family, reading, and needlework.
An interesting fact about Mrs. Talkington is that she grew up in Costa Rica and traveled the world with Pan American Airways.
She and her husband, Tom, are the varsity golf coaches. Their son, Marshall, is a sophomore at USJ. Mrs. Talkington likes teaching at USJ because she enjoys "being able to broaden my students' horizons about the world we live in!"
