Linda Truex teaches Middle School computer and Computer I and Computer II in Upper School. She also serves as the Technology Facilitator for the faculty. Mrs. Truex has a bachelor in business education from Lambuth University, and she has completed graduate courses at the University of Memphis.

She has been associated with USJ and its founding schools (Old Hickory Academy and EDS) for a number of years; first as a teacher at Old Hickory in the 1970s; then as a parent of two children at both Old Hickory and EDS in the 80s, where she served as chairman of the Holiday Mart and president of the Mother's Club; and then as a teacher at USJ since the 1990s. Mrs. Truex says she is very proud to have watched the school develop and to have been a part of its development.

Mrs. Truex and her husband, Ben, have two children, Jessica and Harrison, who both attended USJ. They also have three grandchildren, Maggie, who is 5; Benjamin, who is 3, and Wesley (Wes), who is 1.

"I enjoy teaching at USJ because of the confidence and appreciation that is given to us by the administration, the students, and the parents," Mrs. Truex says. "It is a blessing to be involved in such a tremendous school."
