Supply List
1 large pencil eraser (usually rectangular/pink)
1 set markers
1 set colored pencils
3 boxes wet wipes
4 boxes Clorox Wipes
1 pair scissors
2 boxes Ziploc bags ( 1 gal. And 1 quart)
2 pump hand sanitizer
3 rolls paper towels
4 packages notebook paper (not college ruled)
2 boxes of Kleenex
6 glue sticks
2 packs disposable mechanical pencils
6 red pens
3 Sharpie black Ultra Fine Point markers
2 highlighters
1 8 X 5 plastic school box
1 zipper pencil bag
1 package 5-tab dividers
3 1“ three- ring binders (heavy duty - NO VELCRO)
1 old art shirt- label
1 box of bandaids
1 large bottle of Expo dry erase board cleaner
1 box of 4 multi-colored Expo dry erase markers
1 bottle of White Out
An agenda book, folders, and a dictionary will be purchased from your teacher at the beginning of school. The price will be included with the teacher letter at the beginning of school. Thanks.
Other Back to School Notes:
• All students are asked to bring a $15 check to USJ for an Art fee for the Art Department. No cash, please.
Back to School Dates and Times
• Friday, August 6: Locker Loading for grades 1-5 (see specific times below)
New to USJ students: 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m
Returning students: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
**Day Care and Early Bird begin today
• Sunday, August 8: Parent Orientation Cubs-5th Grade
2:00 p.m. New to USJ Parent Meeting in the Cafetorium
2:30 p.m. All parents (new and returning) go to child's classroom for a short meeting. There will be no general meeting; go directly to your child's classroom
Parking will be available in the front parking lot, parking lots at both gyms, and the back parking lot behind school (enter to cafetorium)
• Monday, August 9:Full day of classes for grades 1-5 (see specific times below)
7:50 a.m.-2:20 p.m.: Grade 1
7:50 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: Grades 2 and 3
7:50 a.m.-2:40 p.m.: Grades 4, 5, & mixed carpool
