Grades

USJ is on a quarterly academic calendar and issues online report cards four times a year. Grades are available online through NetClassroom. (See below)

Middle and Upper School
Students receive numerical and letter grades. In Upper School, of course, grades count toward a GPA and class standing that will be looked at by colleges. Honor rolls for Middle and Upper School are posted online.

Lower School
Quarterly checklists for Jr. Cubs, Cubs, Jr. Kindergarten, and Kindergarten evaluate each student in relationship to his or her own potential. The grading key includes:
S: Satisfactory/Meets Expectations
N: Needs Further Development
U: Unsatisfactory/Does Not Meet Expectations
First through fifth grade students receive quarterly report cards with numerical averages. The Grading Scale is noted above.
