Junior Kindergarten Supply List

BE SURE TO FOLLOW SPECIFICATIONS FOR EACH ITEM

EVERYONE bring these items: (please label each of these items)
1 42x 18 ½  2 inch mat (no oversized 48x23 mats accepted) A 2 inch mat is required by Department of Education regulations.

1 Mat cover and blanket (these are required by the Department of Education) (Mat covers will be available for sale during Parent Orientation.)

1  Full set of extra clothes (2 pair of underwear) in a sealed bag (similar to uniforms) LABEL CLOTHES
& BAG

1 Large zipper backpack—large enough (at least 17” X 11”) for lunch box, Friday Folder, and other items and that your child is able to independently pack and unpack. (NO wheels)

DO NOT LABEL THESE ITEMS:
1 ½ inch white, 3-ring binder, with clear view pocket in front and back
1 can LYSOL Disinfectant spray
1 pack of white drawing paper 
2 Solid color PLASTIC folders with pockets (No dark colors please)
2 Baby wipes- rectangular boxes only, please
6 Elmer’s Glue Sticks- purple only
1 3-pack Lysol or Clorox wipes
1 pair Fiskors, dull-point, scissors

BOYS bring:
1 box of gallon size plastic bags (any brand- no slider seals)
3 sets of Crayolawater colors 8-count only please
1 4-pack of play dough
2 boxes 36-count Crayola Crayons
2 boxes Crayola broad tip washable markers (classic or pastel)
2 boxes 24-count colored pencils

GIRLS bring:
1 box of quart size plastic bags (any brand- no slider seals)
4 boxes 8-count Crayola crayons
1 roll of Scotch 3-M, blue, painter’s tape
2 boxes Kleenex tissues w/lotion
2 boxes Crayola fine-tip washable markers
1 box, 8-count, fine tip, dry erase markers- assorted colors

We may need to ask for certain supplies (baby wipes, crayons, markers, glue sticks, etc.) throughout the school year. Your classroom teacher will alert you to any shortages.

Other Back to School Notes:
• All students are asked to bring a $15 check to USJ for an Art fee for the Art Department. No cash please.
