2011-2012 Kindergarten Back-to-School Information

Kindergarten Supply List

All Kindergarten students bring the following in August

1) $20.00 check to USJ (supply fee)
    Please put this in an envelope labeled with your child’s name and 
    bring on the first day of school.
2) 1 pocket folder (red for girls/blue for boys) DO NOT LABEL
3) 2 inch resting mat with cover (LABEL-no sleeping bags)
4) 1 back pack (kid friendly-easy to open;large enough to hold 
    folder and lunch box) NO WHEELS and NO KEYCHAINS)  LABEL
5) 1 complete seasonal change of clothes in a labeled zip-loc bag
    (does not have to be uniform, but similar colors)
6) 1- 3 prong, 2 pocket plastic folder
7) 1-3 hole (see through) zipper pencil pouch (these will be used in
    daily folders for notes and sending money) Please secure in the
    brads of the plastic folder.

Boys and Girls will bring the following supplies in August.
1 gallon zip-loc bags (any brand)
1 pkg. Of Baby Wipe refills
1 box of 8 regular Crayola crayons (classic colors)
1 8-pack CLASSIC COLOR MARKERS (1 broad tip/1 fine tip)
1 pair of FISKARS kid scissors (round tip and not plastic)
1 box of 24 CRAYOLA crayons
1 big pink rectangle shape eraser
2 containers of CLOROX wipes
1 bag of individually wrapped candy for treat jar NO PEANUT
   products and NO GUM
2 yellow highlighters
1 pkg. of white paper plates (salad size, no designs)
1 pkg. of white paper plates (regular size)
12 #2 pencils (sharpened)
1 box of band-aids

Girls Only:
1 box of glue dots (find in the craft area or scrapbook)
1 “pump” bottle of hand sanitizer

Boys Only:
1 roll of transparent scotch tape (red box)
1 large box of Kleenex (any brand)

We may need to ask for certain supplies throughout the school year. Your classroom teacher will alert you to any shortages.

Other Back to School Notes:
• Do not label any items unless otherwise noted.
• Please try to purchase name brands when requested
• All students are asked to bring a $15 check to USJ for an Art fee for the Art Department. No cash.
