2010-2011 Kindergarten Back-to-School Information

Kindergarten Supply List

All students bring these items in August

$20 check for supply fee for school box and Scholastic Magazine. Please put in envelope labeled with your child’s name and bring the first day of school.
1 pocket folder (red for girls/blue for boys) Do not label
1 two-inch resting mat (LABEL-no sleeping bags)
1 back pack (kid friendly-easy to open; large enough to hold folder and lunch box. No wheels and no keychains) Label
1 complete seasonal change of clothes in a labeled zip-loc bag (does not need to be uniform, but similar colors)
1 gallon zip-loc bags (any brand)
2 packages of Baby Wipe refills
1 box of 8 regular CRAYOLA crayons (classic colors)
2 8-pack CLASSIC COLOR MARKERS ( 1 Broad tip/1 fine tip)
1 pair of FISKARS kid scissors (round tip and not plastic)
2 12-count pkg. of ELMER’S glue sticks (preferably white)
1 box 24 count CRAYOLA crayons
1 big pink rectangle shape eraser
3 containers of CLOROX wipes
1 bag of individually wrapped candy for treat jar (NO PEANUT PRODUCTS/NO GUM)
2 yellow highlighters
1 3 hole (see through) zipper pencil pouch (these will be used in daily folders for notes and sending money)
1 3 prong, 2 pocket plastic folder
2 large packages of assorted construction paper (9 x 12 size/not in tablet)
2 boxes of 2 gallon ziploc bags (any brand)
1 spiral notebook (not college ruled)
1 roll of blue painters tape (Scotch Brand)

Girls only bring in August
1 pkg. paper plates (salad size)
2 boxes of quart size ziploc bags (any brand)
12 #2 wood pencils (sharpened)
1 pkg. wide-tip dry erase markers (classic colors)
1 8 oz. bottle of Elmer's glue

Boys only bring in August
1 large box Kleenex
1 snack size zip-loc bags
1 “pump” bottle of hand sanitizer
2 boxes of band-aids
1 pkg. paper plates (regular size)

Other Back to School Notes:
• Do not label any items unless otherwise noted.
• Please try to purchase name brands wehn requested
• All students are asked to bring a $15 check to USJ for an Art fee for the Art Department. No cash.
