Second Grade Supply List

PLEASE LABEL THESE ITEMS:
1 package of red checking pencils
1 box colored pencils
1 box 16 count crayons (regular colors)  No larger, please.
1 pair Fiskars scissors
1 box regular Crayola markers (washable, no fluorescent or “hot” colors)
1 box thin Crayola markers (washable, basic colors)
1 ruler (centimeter and inch, wooden)
2 large erasers
1 art shirt
1 calculator (easy to read; basic function)
2 yellow highlighters
1 red ink pen
1 school box (dimensions 8" x 4 1/2")
1 wide ruled spiral tablet (70 page) solid color cover

PLEASE DO NOT LABEL THESE ITEMS:
10 regular #2 pencils (No mechanical pencils)
8 glue sticks
1 container wet wipes (rectangular box; no “pop-ups”)
2 boxes large Ziploc bags
1 box small Ziploc bags
2 boxes Kleenex
1 pump bottle gel hand sanitizer
1 pack cap erasers
1 bottle Elmers white glue (4 oz.)
2 containers Clorox brand wipes
1 box Band-Aid brand band-aids
2 pkgs multi color construction paper (9 x 12 size)

Please be sure backpacks will fit the dimensions of the lockers 14 1/2 by 10 1/2. If your backpack has wheels, make sure to include them in your measurement.

Other Back to School Notes:

• Writing tablets, folders, and an agenda book will be available the first day of school from your child’s teacher. 

•Please be sure your child has his/her summer reading books in class on the first day of school: Miss Nelson is Missing; Frog and Toad are Friends; Alexander and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day.

• All students are asked to bring a $10 Art fee for the Art Department. Check (to USJ) or cash.
