2011 Middle School Softball Team

2010 Fall Season

USJ finished 3rd at the West Tennessee Middle School Softball Championships the weekend of September 25. USJ defeated Huntingdon 5-2,  Rutherford  8-0, and Milan 7-1 before losing in the semi-finals to Chester Co. 10-2.

The team finished a very successful season with a record of 17 wins and four losses. Tori Hockaday and Ally McFarland were named to the All-Tournament team.

 

2008 Softball team does well

The Middle School softball team won the West Tennessee Middle School Softball Championship. The girls also won the Tipton Blast-off Tourney and the Trinity Middle School Classic.

The team, with an overall record of 25-1, outscored its opponents 183-15. In the championship series, the team finished with a perfect 5-0, outscoring opponents 41-0. West Tennessee Championship MVP was Lauren Riddell. Making the All-Tournament team were Ally Glover, Haley Hall, and Amanda Bond.

Also on the team were Eliza Edwards, Kaylie Wehner, Katie Exum, Bailey Brittain, Tori Hockaday, Rachel Giampapa, Molly Hall, Shelby Spurgeon, and Samantha Sullivan. Coaches were Brian Dunn, Ken Riddell, and Jay Hall.
