Kroger Gift Cards

For all your grocery shopping needs, it's the Kroger Gift Card! Follow these easy steps to help USJ raise money for academic related programs. During the 2007-2008 school year, we earned nearly $14,000 through the Kroger Gift Card Program.

1. Purchase a card from Marietta Haywood either by phone or by emailing her; or purchase a card from Mary Jane McWherter.

You also can download the order form as a pdf here. Return the order form to your child's teacher. Each card costs $5 but comes with a $5 credit.

2. Tell the cashier BEFORE you check out or pump your gas that you want to add to your card's value. You can add any amount you want to your Gift Card at this point.

3. Use cash, check, or any charge or debit card to "load" your Gift Card with any amount you wish. Cards can be re-loaded each time you shop! Simply tell the cashier you "want to add money to the card" to the card. The card can be used over and over...each time you shop or gas!

4. Check out your groceries or pump your gas.

5. Swipe your gift card as you would a credit card to pay for your purchase.

6. USJ's Academic Support Group will receive 5% of your Kroger Gift Card purchase! For example, for every $100 you spend, ASG receives $5.

As we all know, our grocery bills add up quickly!!

So will our 5%! Just think...if each of our 960 USJ families spent $100 a month at Kroger, our Academic endeavors would receive $4,800 of EFFORTLESS MONEY in just one month (now multiply that times 12 months for more than $57,000)!

Buy a second Kroger Gift Card for your spouse! Get the "grandparents," friends, and relatives a card to start supporting the ASG. It's a great gift idea – give a gift card and USJ benefits in return!
