Special Events at the 2009 Mart
Taylor Laird, Carrie Lewis, and Joyce Speight, were chairmen for the 2009 Holiday Mart. As always, the Mart took place the weekend before Thanksgiving.
2009 Holiday Mart Events
Tea Room
Date: Friday November 20
Time: 11:45 am (one seating only)
Location: Mezzanine Level
• Tickets are $12 per person or reserve a table for 8 for $100. Tickets include a discount coupon for the cookbook, "Southern Secrets," which was first published in 1979 by the Mothers’ Club.
• Take-out available for $8 (soup not provided in take-out) on a first come first serve basis until food runs out. Take out will not be available until the Tea Room sit down lunch and fashion are finished.
The Tea Room will offer a delightful lunch and fashion show featuring the lastest in fashion and accessories from our Holiday Mart merchants. Menu: Soup, chicken salad, green salad, dessert and a drink.
Magical Mart Breakfast
Date: Saturday, November 21
Time: Two seatings, 9 am and 11 am
Location: Mezzanine Level
Price: $10 per ticket or $85 for a table
Be the first to enter the Mart on Saturday and enjoy a fun-filled morning complete with a delicious breakfast, the arrival of Santa and delightful characters that will entertain and serve you!
All-American Girl Mother/Daughter Dessert and Fashion Show
Date: Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22
Time: 3:00 pm each day
Location: Mezzanine Level
Price: $10 per ticket or $85 for a table
A fun event for mothers and daughters! This event will offer delicious desserts, a fashion show and much more!

Portraits with Santa
Friday, Saturday and Sunday during regular Mart hours
Location: Mezzanine Level
Price: Package A: $40 for one 8X10, two 5X7s, and four 3.5X5s. Package B: $30 for one 5X7 and two 3.5X5s. Additional sheets are $10 each. Each additional subject is $5.
A percentage of portrait sales will be given to USJ.
The Family Album is bringing in Santa Claus for our portraits. The Family Album creates a one-of-a-kind set that can be found only at the Holiday Mart and is never repeated again.
Hall of Trees
Friday through Sunday during Mart hours
Location: Southwest end of main level
Creating a festive holiday spirit, the Hall of Trees features area designers’ and business’ talents in decorating individual Christmas trees.
Two authors will sign books in the Hall of Trees during the mart; times to be announced. A percentage of their book sales at the Mart will be given to USJ.

Dad’s Sports Grill
Friday and Saturday, 11am-2pm
Location: Lower level
This is a fun spot to grab a quick bite while enjoying “the game of the day” in the Media Room. Grilled chicken and cheeseburgers will be served hot off the grill along with chips and iced cold drinks.
Holiday Shopper’s Café
Location: Lower Level
Always a hot spot for hungry Mart shoppers, the café will be featuring soups, sandwiches and desserts.
Bakeshop
Location: Main level
Our fabulous Bakeshop offers hundreds of scrumptious homemade items to freeze for holiday gatherings or serve as a pick-me-up snack to keep shoppers going. You will find homemade breads, pies, cakes, cookies, fudge, pumpkin rolls, and cream cheese braids that your family will enjoy.
