Student Life

Are you a soccer player? A trumpet player? Or a chess player? Do your talents shine on the stage? Or in a leadership role?

The breadth of activities at USJ provides opportunities for every child’s interests outside of the classroom. Our successful athletics program, for example, offers 37 teams in 20 sports at the Middle and Upper School level. Our fine arts program offers everything from Lower School musical productions to band to several Upper School choruses.

Uniforms

USJ students at all grade levels wear uniforms. To be in dress code, uniforms must be purchased through Parker School Uniforms. You can purchase your uniforms at Parker's Jackson store or through the company's website.

Cafeteria Debit Card

Lunch and Breakfast
Both the Lower School and the Upper/Middle School cafeterias serve a variety of hot and cold items for lunch and breakfast. All students must make their cafeteria purchases with a scannable lunch card, which will debit money from the card as the student buys food. To put money on your child’s card, send a check to his or her first-period teacher, made out to USJ Cafeteria. Middle and Upper School students can give their checks to Tammy Smith.

The first time you put money on your child's card, we suggest you fill out the cafeteria debit card form. This form also gives you the opportunity to set spending limits and to tell the cafeteria about any allergies. To download a copy of the form in pdf format, click here....

Brigham Short crowned Strawberry Festival Hostess Princess

Brigham Short was crowned the 75th Anniversary Strawberry Festival Hostess Princess for 2012. Four USJ girls competed in the competition that was held in Humboldt, Brigham, Anne Elizabeth Lynch, Lashlee Randolph and Billie Ann Ward. Billie Ann was named 4th maid. Brigham will represent Humboldt in all Festival activities and will serve as the Ambassador for the festival to area businesses, chambers and other festivals. It is a huge honor and quite an accomplishment.
