Lower School Student Organizations

Accelerated Reader Point Clubs

All students in first through fifth grades participate in the Accelerated Reader Program. Its goal is to build a lifelong love of reading and learning in students.

Students who reach certain goals are rewarded. Second grade students who earn 25 points or more will become members of the “25-Point Club,” third grade students who earn 50 points or more will become members of the “50-Point Club,” and any second through fifth grade students who earn 100 points or more will become members of the “100-Point Club.” Each quarter those students will be treated by Debbie Ford, Lower School director, and Stacey Glover, Lower School librarian, with a trip to a movie.

100 point club:
Braden Sallee, Sydney Sellers, Braden Phillipps, Mohid Tanveer, Thomas Ngien, Maddy Gastador, >Caleb Martin, Elisa Kapunan, A.J. Bond, McKenna Smith, Ashlee Allison, Sukhmani Boparai, and Shereen Haji

50 point Club:
Braden Sallee, Sydney Sellers, Sachi Srivastava, Braden Phillipps, Esosa Odeh, Abby Porter, and Mohid Tanveer

25 point Club:
Sadie Hanna, Drew Morris, and Eric Youngberg



 

Lower School

Leadership opportunities begin in the Lower School. The Fifth Grade, for example, has a student council, which is elected each semester.
