Uniform Resale
Is your child growing out of her uniforms? Does he need another pair of those khaki pants? Twice a year, USJ parents organize a uniform resale.
The next uniform resale will be Thursday, December 4, 2008, from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2-5:30 p.m. in the Middle School gym. Please note: This is a cash-only sale.
Drop-off day: Wednesday, December 3, from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2-5:30 p.m.
Pick-up day: Friday, December 5, from 7:30 a.m. until noon.

A $5 service charge will be deducted from each participant’s final sale. Details for tagging, pricing and the form can be found below. These instructions must be followed exactly and the form must be filled out or we cannot accept your items.
Participants must pick up their money and uniforms by noon on the pickup day of the ale. Since this is a cash only sale, we cannot mail checks or hold your money.

These instructions must be followed exactly. Correctly tagging your items is the most important thing you can do to ensure that you sell and receive full credit for your items. Please read and follow all of the instructions when tagging your items. To make our drop off process run smoothly, any tags done incorrectly will need to be re-done when you drop off your items.
FORM: Download and print the attached form. Make sure you fill it out before you come to the sale. Bring it with you when you bring your uniforms. (Uniform Resale Form in PDF format)
TAGGING AND DESCRIPTION: Tagging must be done with masking tape. Make sure your tape sticks well to the uniform. Do not use old tape as it will come off. Write your first and last name, price, size and a very brief description in case your tape becomes separated from your item. Ex: “SS Navy Polo” or “Boy’s Khaki Pants” will help in matching items with lost tags because there are always a few. The hanger hook must face to the left and put the tape on the right side of the uniform as you face it. When writing the size, please use S, M, or L or a size if available.
HANGERS: All uniforms must be on hangers. The hanger hook should face to the left with the tape on the right side of the garment as you face it. You can use plastic hangers. If you do not have clips on your hangers, you must safety pin pants, skirts and shorts onto the top side of the hanger to keep them from sliding to one side. Use medium to large safety pins, no straight pins. Items folded over hangers will not be accepted.
PRICING: When pricing, we suggest asking 1⁄2 of the original price. However, this is at your discretion. If the item is in great condition or new with tags, feel free to ask more. Big ticket items, such as fleece jackets, can bring more of their original price. Please keep your prices in full dollar increments (NO $1.99, $6.50, etc.).
APPEARANCE: Please do not bring dirty, stained or wrinkled uniforms. Appearance does matter. The better they look, the better they sell!
