Homecoming T-Shirts on sale...
USJ Homecoming T-Shirts
TWO different DESIGNS
100% cotton 6.1 oz.
One shirt is Columbia blue with USJ Bruin and Wolf playing football ONLY in BLUE
The other is Red with USJ Bruin holding a television ONLY in RED
Either shirt: Short or Long Sleeve, Children & Adult Sizes
You may buy multiple shirts on one form.
All students that purchase T-shirts will be allowed to wear them to school instead on
Friday Oct. 15th in the spirit of Homecoming.
TO PURCHASE YOUR SHIRTS:
1. Print out form, (see link)
2. Fill out form on other side
3. Choose which shirt: red or blue, long sleeve or short, size
4. Figure total amount of money due.
5. Write child’s name, teacher, grade, your phone number & email address
6. Make checks out to Class of 2012.
7. Send in your money and your form to your teacher

Holiday Mart T-Shirt Contest for Upper and Middle School Students
The USJ Mother's Club is pleased to announce a new tradition for our annual Holiday Mart. A USJ student will design the artwork for the back of the t-shirt. The theme of the 2010 Holiday Mart is "Celebrating 40 Years of Holiday Splendor." We encourage all USJ Upper and Middle School students to participate. The deadline to turn in artwork is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH. Please see your art teacher for additional guidelines for design. If you have any questions please call Kara Hill at 234-2427.

Moms In Touch Ladies Prayer Group
All ladies are invited to attend our Moms In Touch Ladies Prayer group that meets for one hour each week to pray for our children and our school. We meet on Wednesday mornings immediately after morning carpool at the Prayer Garden, which is located behind the high school gymnasium. On rainy or cold days, we meet at the Football Field House.
Kroger Cards - GET YOURS NOW!!!
CARDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FROM MRS. BELL AT THE LOWER SCHOOL, MRS. PEARSON OR MRS. KIRBY AT THE UPPER CAMPUS. Cards are preloaded with $5 each. Please send $5 with your child to get your card and help USJ raise money!!!
Don't forget to use that Kroger Card! We are receiving an estimated amount of $1,400 per month for just reloading, and using your USJ Kroger Cards!!! Just ask your Kroger cashier to reload your card before you start checking out, it is that simple!

Red Cross Project...
Red Cross Project
Looking for emergency supplies (shaving cream, razors, shampoo, soap,
wash cloths, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
Baby Kits: (Baby bottles, shampoo, pampers, combs and brushes, wash
cloths, oil, lotions, soap, etc.)
Teddy bears: in fairly good condition
Also, for a Children's Play area at the Red Cross there is a need for
hard plastic tables and chairs, toys, reading and coloring books, and
bookshelves.
Drop off boxes will be available at the Lower School until Sept 17th.

large items.
Community Service Opportunity...
Community Service Hours: Saturday, Sept. 11th 10:00-3:00. Alamo National Guard( Alamo National Guard Armory, 778 Hwy. 54 North Alamo, TN) “Community Day” (Volunteers needed to set-up, break- down, and help work the event) Please contact Angela Freese @ 731-499-0471 for volunteer positions.
Yearbook Sale...
Yearbook sale will begin September 27. Please do not send in any oders before that date. Last night at Orientation was a pre-sale for one night only. The books will be on sale for $80 beginning Sept. 27 through October 7, 2010.
Senior pictures...
Any senior who has not had his/her senior picture taken needs to get this done soon. The deadline for the yearbook will be set in the next week or two. Make your apppointment with Christensen as soon as possible!!
