Current Openings
University School of Jackson, attracts students from throughout West Tennessee with its challenging, college-preparatory curriculum, strong athletic and fine arts programs, and emphasis on character education. The Head of Upper School reports to the Head of School and is charged with the comprehensive responsibility of all curricular and non-curricular development/ activities involving students and faculty in the division to create a dynamic learning environment. The Head also oversees the hiring and supervision of instructional and support personnel and is expected to engage fully in the life of the school and the Jackson community. To ensure a cohesive K-12 program, the Head of Upper School actively collaborates with the Heads of Lower and Middle School to manage the school-wide curriculum, build the school calendar and schedule, and otherwise administer the school’s mission.
The Interim LS Spanish and Early Childhood art teacher provides instruction in creative and challenging activities aimed at children in grades Jr. Cubs - 5. You will develop daily lesson plans and encourage students to think critically and imaginatively, encouraging students to enjoy their creativity in these subjects. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment while taking reasonable precautions to protect students and student learning.
The University School of Jackson seeks an inspiring, innovative, and inquiry-driven educator to join our team as a full-time Upper School Spanish Teacher. This educator will work with a team of top educators to help young men and women reach their full potential as global citizens.
