Headnotes: Responding to the Dilemma of 21st Century Independent School Parenting

We experienced the pleasure of hosting an event earlier this month, and I could not have been more pleased with the conversation led by our team as it related to supporting student success through challenges faced by parents and teachers in meeting the needs of our children. I will endeavor to use this newsletter over the next few installments to initiate a deeper dive into this critically important issue and share “ten practical steps” in hopes of providing support as we work together on behalf of our students.

Authors Rob Evans and Michael Thompson are noted school psychologists who do much productive work with independent schools, and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them over the past few years. They shared an idea a couple of summers ago that has been most helpful:
