The University School of Jackson announces the appointment of Mrs. Courtney Burnette to the position of Lower School Director and Mrs. Hayley Wilkerson to the position of Early Childhood Director and Assistant Lower School Director beginning in July 2023. Mrs. Burnette will fill the Director position upon Mrs. Cindy Kirsch’s retirement and Mrs. Wilkerson will fill the position that opened up in January when Mrs. Holly Stroup moved to Gallatin.
I feel certain that you, like me, have been resting in a Sunday pew on a given weekend, listening to your pastor’s sermon regarding the depravity of man and the need to clean up our acts, and thought: “Amen. Tell ‘em, preacher!”
Or perhaps heard the halftime speech specifically targeted to your teammates sitting around you who need to be playing harder during the second half.
How about the evening news anchor railing about the downfall of the nation, which may lead one to ponder how our state of affairs would be much improved if everyone just thought like me?
The Color of Music Art Contest had 197 finalists who had artwork judged. USJ had 17 students receive an award for their artwork.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. Students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which serves as an initial screen.
