USJ Today
I shared a brief (really!) thought with the students on opening day, and I wanted to pass it along to you as well. I started the year by telling them:
I am always nervous on the first day of school, as are our parents and teachers. Today begins USJ’s 54th year and my 30th in education, and we all bring butterflies with us on opening day when the curtain goes up and right before kickoff because…we care.
The USJ "Moms In Prayer" group will start back this Wednesday, August 16, at 8am in the Prayer Garden behind the Upper School gym. All are welcome to join!

We are looking forward to the beginning of school and excited about all that comes with it: new USJ families, faculty, and staff, improvements to our instruction, as well as enhancements to our campus completed over the summer. We trust you have experienced a relaxing break and are ready for an engaging year at the U. As we begin year two of the implementation of our strategic plan, we want to make certain we are focused on our mission and constant improvement.
USJ is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Tucker as the new Director of After School and Camp Bruins. With an impressive background in coordinating child care and customer service, Rachel brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for nurturing and supporting our students.
USJ is thrilled to announce the appointment of two exceptional individuals to its security team. Please join us in welcoming David Smith and Robert Clyce, who will play pivotal roles in ensuring the safety and well-being of the USJ community.
