Shadow Days

Learn More About Shadow Days

We understand that transitioning from another school setting can be a scary proposition, and sometimes you just wish you could “try it out.” Shadow Days are a great way for students to get a feel for the USJ environment in and out of the classroom. They will be paired up with a current student in their grade and have the opportunity to sit in on classes, have lunch, and tour the campus.

Admissions Events

We're thrilled to invite prospective families to two exciting events this fall! Our "Sneak Peek" offers Jr. K and Kindergarten experiences in our classrooms, while "Bruin for a Day" (Grades 1-12) allows shadowing, faculty interaction, and campus tours.

Bruin For A Day (FULL)

Starting in November, we will host Bruin for a Day for Jr. K, Kindergarten, and grades 1–12. Prospective Jr. K and Kindergarten students, along with their parents, are invited to spend a morning in the classroom to experience a day at USJ. For grades 1–12, prospective students will shadow a current student, interact with faculty, and tour the campus.

Event details:

  • Bruin for a Day – Grades 6–12: Tuesday, November 11 | 7:45 am – 2 pm

  • Bruin for a Day – Grades 1–5: Wednesday, November 12 | 8 am – 2 pm

  • Bruin for a Day – Jr. K & Kindergarten: Thursday, November 13 | 8:30 am – 10 am
