Arts at the U

Arts at the U

Arts at the U is the University School of Jackson’s largest annual celebration of the Fine Arts, showcasing the creativity and talent of students across all three divisions. This special evening highlights the dedication and hard work of students and teachers throughout the school year.

During Arts at the U, student artwork is displayed throughout campus, transforming the halls into a gallery filled with paintings, drawings, pottery, and other creative works. Guests can enjoy live music from Middle and Upper School band students while exploring the exhibits and experiencing the vibrant artistic community at USJ.

Performing arts are also featured throughout the evening. Students from the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools present selections from recent theater and musical productions, and the night concludes with the annual Pops Concert, performed by the Upper School Combined Choir and the Jr. Bruin Choir in Blankenship Theater.

Families and guests are invited to enjoy dinner from a variety of local food trucks during the event. Admission to Arts at the U is free, and donations collected during the evening support the USJ Fine Arts Department by helping provide classroom supplies, instruments, and other resources that enhance the arts program.
