Arts Guild

The Arts Guild is led by a steering committee that oversees the organization’s operations and works closely with the USJ Fine Arts Department. The Guild provides both financial support and volunteer assistance to help ensure the success of our theatre productions and other fine arts events.

Parent volunteers play an important role in supporting the program. Volunteers assist with promoting productions, maintaining the costume and prop closet, selling tickets, working backstage, chaperoning trips, and helping with many other hands-on opportunities throughout the year.

Funds raised by the Arts Guild help cover the costs of theatre productions and fine arts programming. The Guild also provides scholarships for summer enrichment opportunities and helps purchase supplies and equipment for Fine Arts teachers and their classrooms.

A significant portion of the Guild’s funding comes from families and businesses who become Patron or Corporate Sponsors. Corporate Sponsors receive valuable recognition through program advertisements and pre-show advertising displayed on the theater screen. Each production typically attracts between 1,000 and 1,200 attendees, and performances are promoted throughout the wider community.
