Prayer Garden

Since 1998, the USJ Prayer Garden has provided a special place on campus for prayer, reflection, remembrance, and connection.

Located behind the Upper School gym, the garden offers a peaceful retreat from the activity of the school day. Students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of USJ are invited to visit the garden to celebrate blessings, seek comfort and guidance, remember those who have touched their lives, or simply pause for a quiet moment of reflection.

Over the years, the Prayer Garden has also become a meaningful place to honor members of the USJ family. Memorials throughout the garden help preserve the legacies of individuals whose lives have made a lasting impact on our school and community.

For nearly three decades, the Prayer Garden has remained a place of peace, gratitude, hope, and remembrance—a quiet space that reflects the relationships and shared experiences connecting generations of Bruins.
