Summer Study Abroad

USJ provides experiential learning opportunities in Spanish and French.  

The Costa Rica Study Abroad Program has helped students attain higher levels of proficiency since 1998. Summer 2024 will mark the 15th time students will immerse themselves in the Spanish language and Hispanic culture while studying at the Intensa Language Institute and experiencing ecotourism in one of the most diverse places on the planet. This program occurs every two years.

Summer 2025 will provide a unique opportunity for students and other USJ family members, including parents and teachers, to experience the best of England, France and Spain in one single trip, beginning in London, and ending in Barcelona. This once-in-a- lifetime opportunity will include: Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, The London Tower, Eiffel Tower, Versailles, The Louvre, Notre Dame, La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and an evening of Flamenco.
