The more YOU bake, the more WE make!

We need your homemade baked goods for the Holiday Mart! 

All families are expected to participate. Don't forget to fill out the form below so your child's class gets credit for the contest!

What to Bake:

Need ideas on what to bake? Cakes sell better than pies. Strawberry cakes, Red Velvet cakes, coconut cakes, and pound cakes are always a hit. Have a yummy sugar free recipe? Great! We always have shoppers ask for sugar free desserts. 

Here is a list of suggested items by grade:

INFANTS/ JR. CUBS- Homemade Rolls (yeast, sourdough), Breads** CUBS- Breads**, pies

JR K- Cake Balls

K- fudge, pies 

1st- Breads**, Homemade Rolls (yeast, sourdough) 

2nd- Cakes*

3rd- Cake Balls

4th- Dessert Bars***, Coffee Cakes 

5th- Nuts and Bolts/ Snack Mixes 

6th- Cakes*

7th- Coffee Cakes, Dessert Bars*** 

8th- pies, fudge 

9th- homemade granola, Snack Mixes

10th- Cookies, Breads**

11th- Pies, Nuts and Bolts

12th-Cakes*, Homemade Rolls (yeast, sourdough) 

 

*Cakes- Good Sellers: Strawberry, Bundt, Rum, Hummingbird, Lemon, Pound, Chocolate 

**Breads- Good Sellers: Banana Nut, Pumpkin, Banana, Zucchini, Poppy seed 

***Dessert Bars- Good Sellers: Chess Squares, pecan bars, blonde brownies, brownies 

 

NOTES: PLEASE label ALL Baked Goods and wrap in CLEAR/See Through wrapping. Items will not sell if they are not labeled and if the buyer can’t see the item.

How to Wrap:

Use tight-fitting saran wrap or clear cellophane to cover your items. If you are creative, please decorate it with a bow and add a label on the outside to identify your items. If you cannot tie bows, that is okay! Do you have a platter you no longer wish to use? Add it under your baked goods, and your item will sell for more!

Drop Off Information:

Thursday, November 16th 7:00-9:00 AM and Friday, November 17th 7:00-9:00 AM, parent volunteers will be at each carpool with their trunks open. Leave your baked goods and completed contest forms and they will transport your items to the Holiday Mart!
